Introducing BeatRoute Sales Team App v6.4

We are thrilled to unveil the BeatRoute Sales Team App Version 6.4 on Android, marking a significant stride in our relentless commitment to pioneer innovation and deliver state-of-the-art solutions. This update introduce 2 new major functionalities along with a host of minor improvements. The backend changes are common, however, introduction on the iOS Team App and Customer WebApp will follow later. 

1. Now Setup Product Variants to Handle Color, Size and Other Attributes

We understand that businesses in many industries sell products based on variations like color, size, and other options. To help you streamline your processes, we’re excited to introduce Product Groups. Each Product Group represents a collection of all the variants of any given product.

What this means for you:

  • Simplified Ordering: Now you can create product groups for all products which come in multiple variants. This makes the ordering workflow easier and more intuitive for the user.
  • Flexible Inventory Tracking: All related improvements in SKU management, stock reporting and other reports have been included in this release. This means that you can manage the inventory for both the overall product group and its individual variations (SKUs).

2. Track Must Sell and Focus Sell Performance vis a vis Multiple SKUs as a Group

With this release, BeaRoute is upgrading the concept of MSL, FSL definition and tracking concept. While earlier you could only declare individual products as MSL or FSL, now you can use any SKU attribute as MSL/FSL. For example, you can pick any product category, subcategory or sub-brand and declare it as a whole to be MSL/FSL, as well as define a time period and during which the MSL/FSL targeting will be applicable.

On the order taking page of individual customers, MSL/FSL prompts will be based on whether any SKU of the MSL/FSL group has been sold or not. Customers with longer repeat order cycles can also set up a period for which sales data will be checked to determine compliance.  Accordingly, Scorecard KPIs related to MSL/FSL compliance have been improved to track at the group level.
